If you set up a blog through WordPress, do you need to have your own domain name?
Should bloggers use or avoid email “conventions” (e.g., “LMAO”, smilies)? What about standard grammar and punctuation?
Answer to first question: No. You will have a site hosted by Wordpress that includes your username in the url.
Using web conventions (ex. LOL) probably depends on what the tone of your blog is. For a professional blog, you may want to avoid using those acronyms. If your blog is more personal, it may be more appropriate.
